Spiritual / Body / Mind Counseling
|
Spiritual /Body/Mind Counseling develops awareness, accessed through the body and mindfulness, which heals, and cultivates consciousness. Judith's primary tools in counseling people are the Enneagram, T'ai Chi Chih, and Guided Self Healing. The Enneagram helps to discern those things which help us, and those things which hinder us. An ancient psychological/spiritual system, purportedly handed down from the Sufi's of Afghanistan, the Enneagram describes nine different personality types, which characterize each of us. In observing the unique ways in which we have created our lives, we find, there is much more that we have not accessed. That persistent nagging that we sense, particularly as we approach middle age, that whispers, is this all there is, is made audible and visible through the Enneagram. The intricacies of our lives fall nicely onto a map, which guides us to a deeper, more satisfying and whole level of living. We become alive and energized as we embark on this new spiritual journey. Guided Self Healing is a tool which uses applied kinesiology to discern where we have blocked energy. Guided to ways of clearing this energy, we are healed of sabotage patterns which undermine our highest priority intentions. Answers to our question, why can't I just do it? become known, and techniques to move forward are offered. Guided Self Healing combines knowledge of trauma resolution, an elaborate combination of neurological approaches, Body Touch, acupuncture, chakra system, meridian systems and more, and the Enneagram to heal us of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual maladies. T'ai Chi Chih, Knowledge of the Supreme Ultimate, is a powerful, easy, and enjoyable moving meditation which stimulates the vital energy in the body known as the Chi. Many of us who have availed ourselves of the multitude of healing techniques out there, wonder, how come I am not healed once and for all? We don't realize that we have entered into a new way of living, a new paradigm, a new process. In doing this, our ways of relating and acting, our accustomed habits and behavior begin to change. We need daily practices to facilitate and maintain this change. T'ai Chi Chih is such a practice, stimulating, circulating and rebalancing the Chi , diminishing the fixated, outdated attentional stances. As we learn to live more fully in the present, we begin to open our hearts to a more compassionate and meaningful lifestyle. Our lives begin to transform along with our families and communities in ways we could not have imagined. |
